Home made wine finished..
Apr 29th
Wow. I can’t believe that it actually worked! After weeks of bubbling and adding chemicals and sterilising things the wine is ready. I did bottle tonight and also had a glass, and it tastes really good (I will post again if I get sick tonight).
As you can see from the picture below, it looks quite professional with it’s shrink wrap and cork (the corking machine is well clever, it squashes the cork to fit it in the neck of the bottle). The only dissapointment is the label, which had to be hand written on, I bet if I search hard enough I can find some computer print ones on the internet. Mum and Dad will be the fist to uncork a bottle for Sunday lunch. I’m well chuffed!!!!

Interesting Website
Apr 24th
http://www.timhunkin.com/index.htm is a fantastical website. I particually invite you to download the “secret life of machines” which is educational and facinating. Also the experiments section is incredible. I’m considering buying the book!

Verse of the day..
Apr 21st
Check out my new “Verse of the day” feature. It uses an excellent plugin which takes XML bible verse feeds allowing it to display a different verse each day! Cool…
If you are a wordpress buff, then find it here.
Also, I am trying a new three column layout for a bit. Comment on if you like it or not. It’s different, and I can’t decide if it’s better. I’m just looking for a fresh new look
Tent..
Apr 21st
I’m very excited, as we have a new tent ready for holidays in the summer. I am going to put it up in the garden to test it tomorrow… I may even try to do a time lapse video (almost) to show you how easy (yeh right) it is.
the ark

check this out.
I have always been interested in finding the ark, and came across this interesting article.
Travels
Apr 11th
I have been re-reading a book called Travels by Michael Chrichton, he’s the guy that wrote jurrasic park and sphere. Travels is a facual book about his life experiences and it’s really interesting. He’s a scientist which makes me trust what he says, and he’s not afraid to try new things. He talks in several chapters about psychic readings and things, and seems pretty convinced that there is something in it. Only in terms of people knowing your past. For a christian, I’m always careful about things like this, but if there is something in it, then how does it work and where does it connect to the spiritual realm that I believe in. God clearly has revealed supernatural information to others about me in the past, so should I be supprised that others can access this kind of information.
Anyhow, it’s a real good read. Check it out at amazon
Happy Passover.
Apr 11th
I am going to be playing keyboard tomorrow night at a passover celebration, at St Thomas Lancaster, which is church of England. If that seems a bit strange then perhaps it is, but it’s certainly fun. I get to play loads of um-pa um-pa type music and eat food which is all good (except for the traditional horseraddish… yuk).
Tonight I went bowling at Morecambe SuperBowl, and scored 174, which sounds good but was frustrating as it’s 2 behind my best ever, and my last shot was only a 6. Ah well, it’s just nice to find some time for things like this!
Video Edits..
Apr 10th
A nice evening has been had today with my friend nicola. She has spent a lot of time in Thiland working in orphanages and is now setting up here own charity to care for the children in Thiland. I have been assisting in making a video DVD which should be ready soon. She also has a website, which I am going to host, so hopefully I will be able to share that as well. Here is a picture of nicola with somem kind of strage bird.

Hey, Got some stuff ordered ready for the wine production. Sounds cool. I’m going to start with some pre-prepared juice, just becuase it’s my first try, but if all goes well the loads of strange wines will be coming out! Need to get people to save me bottles. I found another really good site http://www.homewinemaking.co.uk/
